Sketch 15 - 7-09-11

grrrr....practice...makes...perfect.........

I knew I couldn't keep it under 30 minutes. But I managed to stop at 40. I "painted" for value practice, obviously. At the least the proportions aren't horrible. Likeness went out the window, but I'm chill. Just breathe. Do better next time. OTL

So I was introduced to, well, a lot of things recently. But most recently, a site Ctrl+Paint! Awesome resource And in one of the videos, he talked about doing both line method and value method for pre-painting and that you will feel more comfortable with one than with the other. And I've decided, I work much better with lines, always have. But I had hoped I could work with the value...maybe with practice. But I know myself. This was frustrating half way through, and I need something that will keep me going day after day. So I may go back to lines and value that way, or...idk....grrrr.... can't think now -_-

P.S. you can know which program I work in by my siggy. hehe I have a PS brush for it.. 8]
